It’s true that Chicago is one of the most exciting cities in the world. With a rich history, diverse cuisine, and a bustling nightlife scene, it’s no wonder so many people flock to this city every year. But we think there’s something even more special about Chicago: the memories you make here.

From our incredible landmarks like The Bean and Willis Tower, to our delicious food options like deep dish pizza and hot dogs, there are so many ways you can leave your mark on this city. Whether you’re looking for a romantic date night or an adventure with friends, we’ve got you covered!

Whether it’s hitting up a Cubs game at Wrigley Field or going on a food tour where you’ll learn how to make authentic Italian food from scratch—the possibilities are endless!

Chicago is a city that isn’t just about the tall buildings, the huge skyscrapers, and the iconic architecture: it’s also about a lot of other things.

Chicago has a rich history, and while that might not be on your list of things to do when you visit, it’s definitely worth knowing. And if you’re looking for something a little more adventurous than just walking around downtown and seeing the sights, there are plenty of other activities that will make your trip to Chicago memorable—and they’ll give you an even better sense of what this city has to offer.

If you want to get up close and personal with some animals in their natural habitat, head over to Brookfield Zoo. You can see lions and tigers and bears—oh my!—all in one place. Plus, there are plenty of smaller animals in their own habitats as well. It’s a fun way to spend a day with friends or family members who have never been before (or even if they have).

Another great way to make memories during your stay is by going out on Lake Michigan on one of Chicago’s many boats. Whether you want something small like a paddleboat or something bigger like a yacht or yacht-like vessel, there’s something for everyone!

Try the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI), which is located on the lakefront near Navy Pier. The museum has several exhibits that are interactive and interesting—from an Egyptian tomb where you can excavate a mummy’s remains to a simulated lightning storm where you can learn how electricity works by touching various objects before they’re zapped by lightning bolts! The museum also has a movie theater where they show educational films about science and technology topics like our solar system, medicine, space travel and more.

If you love animals then head over to Lincoln Park Zoo or Brookfield Zoo! Both zoos feature many different types of animals including reptiles/amphibians such as snakes/lizards.

Here are some of our favorite ways to make memories in Chicago:

  1. Get up close and personal with nature at Millenium Park’s Lurie Garden
  2. Take a selfie with one of our many statues (we think anyone who visits should try to get their picture taken with The Bean)
  3. Head downtown for architecture tours like those offered by Open House Chicago
  4. Get active on Lake Michigan during the summer months with stand-up paddleboarding or kayaking!
